OBJECTIVE:
I am eagerly pursuing the position as a meteorologist

QUALIFICATIONS:
I have built a weather department from the ground up. A little over 2 years ago I was hired to do a complete overhaul of what was KSPR weather. This included mastering a brand new weather system and creating a new set of graphics from scratch to show off a new modern look.  In addition to this I created a weather blog, weather chat room, a social media network (ozarksweatherfans.com), and launched KSPR into the world of facebook, myspace, and twitter. The effort has paid off as our ratings have tripled in a little over 2 years.

I have experience chasing storms and tracking severe weather both on the air and in the field. I handled a night where 33 tornadoes touched down in our DMA. I was part of the Vortex2 tornado chasing mission that caught the now famous Wyoming tornado from 2009. I have used WSI weather equipment, along with Weather Central. I have experience using Doppler Radar. I hold the seal of approval from the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association and have an award for the "Best Weathercast" in Missouri from the Missouri Broadcasters Association.
